OUR GOAL
Strengthen, make visible and industrialize our associated companies. Carry out activities so that digital animation is recognized with all the benefits and guarantees of the Colombian audiovisual industry. We are the association that is building and formalizing this industry in Colombia.
ABOUT US
We are 16 companies from six cities in the country dedicated to creating, designing and producing our own animation content. For us this is essential, since the creation of intellectual property is our strong point.

AT THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL WE HAVE PARTICIPATED IN FESTIVALS AND MARKETS SUCH AS
MIFA (Annecy Animation Festival) in 2018, the largest animation market in the world with the participation of 75 countries and 4,100 accredited attendees. This was the first time that an association of animated content producers in Colombia achieved this, and with its own stand, ensuring very significant visibility for GEMA.
We signed two international cooperation agreements: One with Chile and the other with Argentina.
From the first moment we were part of the process of the White Book of Ibero-American Animation (Quirino Awards Initiative in collaboration with Diboos, Egeda, ICEX, Welaw, Ibermedia and other Ibero-American associations).
We were present at the working tables of the Ibero-American Animation Associations in the Canary Islands, organized by the Quirino Awards.
