To strengthen, make visible and industrialize our associated companies. To carry out activities so that digital animation is recognized with all the benefits and guarantees of the Colombian audiovisual industry. We are the association that is building and formalizing this industry in Colombia.
Annecy and MIFA have attended the creation and evolution of GEMA Colombia with great interest in recent years. The birth of a professional organization, in any country, always demonstrates an evolution in that industry. GEMA has contributed greatly in building this ecosystem and its presence is essential, at the national level for Colombian professionals, and internationally to develop collaboration with other countries. Being a member and working together is the key to success. GEMA has understood this from the beginning. We at Annecy and MIFA are very happy to collaborate with GEMA and discover more and more talents from Colombia.
GEMA has been a fundamental piece in structuring the animation industry in Colombia and, thanks to its drive, to structure it at the Ibero-American level as well. This is where our paths have crossed and where we are collaborating together. GEMA is NECESSARY and its work ESSENTIAL.
From the Ministry of Culture and its Office of Audiovisuals, Cinema and Interactive Media, we celebrate the organization forming processes of the agents of the Cultural Industries ecosystem. Associations such as GEMA strengthen the management of projects and processes of animators in Colombia.
The work that GEMA has been doing in recent years to continue positioning the Colombian animation industry internationally and to achieve regional alliances and cooperations is exceptional. In GEMA we have found a strategic ally to materialize our dream of creating more business opportunities for entrepreneurs in the sector, promote the Colombian industry and generate greater investment in this field.
GEMA has grouped 17 companies and has given visibility to animation in the country. It has also added international projection to it. We celebrate the effort to generate synergies because this is, by far, the best way to continue to grow. Happy anniversary and long live animation.
It is very important to have groups like GEMA in our region. Through its sustained work, it has managed to make visible the growth of Colombian animation, reflect the concerns of the industry and put into focus the needs within this sector.
It is also a benchmark for other Latin American countries where animation is growing that find in GEMA an ally that generates a space for contact with Colombian companies.
